Romp Shaker

I just can't let summer go by without at least one featured romper, can I now? Nope.

One of my most favorite people came to town to visit, and as our regular ritual, we hit up Aritizia on 5th Avenue.  When you let two Canadian girls loose in this two-level store, sh*t gets real quickly. Funny how our lunchtime hunger was forgotten as soon as we stepped inside. Fast forward two hours later (yes two - don't judge), and we each had quite an impressive haul.  My favorite find is this delightful, little romper in a super soft jersey knit so heavenly that it actually elicited a sigh from me when I slipped it on.

What I also love about this piece is that its simplicity serves as a blank slate for a myriad of effortless styles. I've dressed it up with heels as you see here, and I've worn it with my flat Schutz sandals. Later this summer, I plan to pair this with my blazer to dress up on those cooler nights. In the fall, I'll slip a crisp, white collared shirt underneath, throw on a (faux) fur vest and some over-the-knee boots. It's really that versatile.

Now doesn't that make ya wanna shake your, err...romper?
