Rhapsody in Blue

Last summer, I had one of my most favorite vacations cruising along the winding cliff-top roads of Provence, sunbathing on the beaches along the Côte d'Azur, enjoying fresh mussels and rosé in Aix, and browsing for goodies at the weekly market in Nice. This simple, summer tank dress of white and blue reminds me of that fabulous vacation along the French Riviera and the ever-present blue Mediterranean, and sums up the essence of the south of France – simple, seductive, irresistible.

There's something to be said about the simplicity and versatility of the tank dress, especially for summer. In a pinch I know I can throw on this dress with a pair of heels for a night out on some rooftop bar or with my Converse sneakers for a day of walking around Nolita. If you decide to grab this cute dress, here's a word of warning: it shrinks, big time. My bad for hemming this dress three inches only to then wash it and have it shrink another three inches!
