Everyone remembers their firsts: first kiss (Philip A!), first car (Volkswagon Jetta), first job (McDonald's), first black leather jacket (The Arrivals). Okay, sure, so a leather jacket isn't a momentous first with many people. However, for someone who shops like me, it's a wonder how this wardrobe staple has eluded my closet until now. The ubiquitous black leather jacket is one investment piece that remains timeless. And darn it, you just can't help but feel cool wearing one.

And let's talk about that red dress, the one of only two items I picked up for 50% off during Black Friday. I just LOVE sweater dresses in the winter paired with warm, fleece lined tights (These exist! Check them out at Urban Outfitters) and boots. This particular dress is amazing because of the ruching both on the front and back which perfectly camouflage all the food and alcohol I will be consuming during all the holiday parties this month!
