Girls' Night Out

I've been on a bit of an unexpected break, cocooning as a result of the ceaseless onslaught of bitter cold and snow. Alas, life and blogging must go on, and what better reason to emerge from under this down comforter than for pizza, wine and a photo shoot with the amazing Olga as well as Carrie behind the camera?
This shoot is a bit of a departure from my regular posts, but I’ve always wanted to incorporate more friends to my entries. So with a Breather room booked, the Zipcar of meeting rooms and event space, we had a pre-game shoot for a typical girls’ night out!
For those who have been following The Wearwithal, you know I love my rompers. "But it's too cold for rompers!" you say. Not at all, as long as you winterize it! For girls' night out, I decided on my latest romper, a lacy number from Lovers + Friends which I’ve winter-proofed by pairing it with over the knee boots and long cardigan. I suggest going one step further and wear them with fleece-lined tights, which I just discovered at Urban Outfitters; I live in these things almost every day and praise the genius who came up with them. On Olga, I love the clean, classic look of a fitted, black bottom, an over-sized white silk top, and striking red lips. This is my go-to look for a night out.
