Holidazzle

Aside from summer, the Christmas season is my favorite time of the year. Maybe it has to do with the great childhood memories with my huge family in Vancouver where Christmas day at my Lolo and Lola's home was filled with food, love, music, laughter and sometimes drama. We all know this season can also be the most hectic time with one holiday party after the next. Everyone wants to get together and be merry in the span of a little over three weeks. So what do you wear to all these dinners, cocktails and brunches with folks who range from family and close friends to acquaintance and work colleagues?

Enter the sequin skirt. If you're going to sparkle and shine any time this year, this is the best time to be holidazzling! While today I've kicked it up a bit with a bralette and blazer which is entirely appropriate for an evening with friends, this same skirt would look great with a chunky cable knit sweater for a family event, or a silky button-down blouse for a work soiree. The other weekend I paired this skirt with a grey v-neck t-shirt and lace-up booties for a more casual brunch look at Bagatelle. It's so versatile, and I love it!
